Things that make your roof leak…

Episode 1

I’m one of the guys at Lindholm who gets sent to find out why your roof is leaking, and I thought I’d share some of the things I’ve found. While most calls bring me to a roof that has simply died of old age, if the roof is newer and I tell folks that I’m going to check for bullet holes they think I’m Kidding.

Guess not….

This one would have caused a leak eventually since it had broken both layers of the Architectural shingle roof. But how did it get there? Short answer, stupid people shooting in the air in what is called celebratory gunfire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celebratory_gunfire

Doing this is, stupid, dangerous illegal, and not as rare as one might think….

Maybe we all should wear hard hats at New Year, 4^th of July, on your crazy neighbor’s birthday,
